Passing through from College Station to Austin, I stumbled upon Andrea's for lunch, and I'm so glad I did. The food was not only affordable but also delicious. The service was just as impressive--warm, welcoming, and genuinely friendly. It's the kind of place that makes you feel right at home which was clear by all the locals knowing each other. I'm so glad I got the chance to try it out--definitely a highlight of my trip through these backroads.
One advantage of being co-pilot on road trips, Im in charge of finding food...This round was for breakfast and these tacos were legit. Truthfully these isn't much to look at from the outside...has that dive feel, inside is about the same...but very clean and up kept. Salsa bar in the corner was nice with 3 choices...a round of Chorizo, Egg and cheese, and the GD goes for Bacon, Egg and Cheese....All the tacos were good size...Now I converted to Chorizo a few years back, as the bacon most places serve just doesn't make the cut...but the bacon was how bacon should be...thick and cooked perfectly...and I was lucky the GD couldn't finish her second taco and those few bites left we wishing I had ordered bacon.
I hadn't been here since 1998 and there's a reason that this place is still open! The breakfast burrito was as good as it was years ago!
Been trying to find a GOOD breakfast taco place n Brenham , for a long time . This is it , excellent food , hot hot sauce is great . Not greasy , fast , not fancy but quaint and clean . We will be regulars here fir breakfast tacos . We will try them for lunch etc. soon !
Discovered during downtime in between tournament games, was hesitant at first. SUCH a GREAT experience! So clean on the inside, food came super fast/ less than 10mins (even w/a crowded dining area). The quality/grade of meat (beef & shredded chicken) was impressive! Normally the nice quality/grade of beef is only used at $$$-$$$$ restaurants but this place used it too! And everything was priced so well. We loved the huge glass bottle soda/tea selections!
